THE AVERAGE CLAUSE

The average Clause is applicable on all claims section for e.g House Contents & House buildings etc. Let us assume you are insured for R500.00.00 but the replacement of your property is R1 000 000.00. This means you are only insured for the half of the replacement value. You must cover the other  half, for example, if you suffer damages to the value of R 100, 000.00, the insurer will only pay half of this amount which is R50, 000.00.

Please ensure that the insured amount for your household contents, buildings, etc is always sufficient.
